Audiologist Duties & Responsibilities

The role and function of an Audiologist includes the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Administering tests on patients and recording results for future reference.
  • Inserting listening devices according to the patients' physiological needs.
  • Maintaining medical records based on evaluations.
  • Conducting auditory tests when required to by a physician.
  • Supplying listening devices such as hearing aids.
  • Consulting with other medical practitioners about the patients' needs.
