We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Assistant Manager, Human Resources Location: Lagos Reporting To: Head, Human Resources - Nigeria Role Summary

  • Lead the organization’s overall HR-IR agenda in Nigeria.
  • This will be a challenging opportunity to be a part of growth oriented business and contribute in building a world class HR function.
  • Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team.
  • Perform orientations, on boarding and update records with new hires.
  • Conduct negotiation and discussions with government authorities and Unions on various IR matters.
  • Maintain all statutory compliance and records for the company as per Nigerian Labour Laws
  • Maintain high engagement level within the workforce
  • Lead and manage the Industrial Relations function in the company
  • Maintain harmonious and cordial industrial relations in the company
  • Manage employee records
Compensation & Benefits Management:
  • Develop and anchor manpower planning & manpower budget process for the business.
  • Anchor the compensation, planning and administration process in line with the organization’s policy.
  • Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
  • Maintain service conditions for workers as per the law and make corrections as and when required.
Performance & Talent Management:
  • Manage the Performance Management process (goal setting, half yearly & annual performance reviews) in line with the group guidelines for all employees in Nigeria
  • Support the recruitment/hiring process by greeting candidates, performing checks, assisting in short listing, issuing employment contracts etc.
  • Partner the business/function head and International HR team to manage and various other HR processes
Learning & Development:
  • Identify training requirements for the workforce and organize relevant training programs.
  • Support the BU Head and International HR team in implementing other learning and development initiatives.
HR Operations:
  • On time in full delivery of established HR processes to manage employee Life Cycle.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team’s agenda.
  • Manage HR data integrity and HRIS .
Organization Design:
  • Partner the leadership in creation of future ready organization structure .
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate should have a Master's Degree in HR/IR from a premier business school
  • 7-8 years of relevant HR experience (at least 3-4 years of IR experience is must)
