  • Bancassurance is a relationship between a Bank and an Insurance company aimed at offering Insurance benefits to the Bank's customers. Even though it is a fairly new Business channel, It has proven to be one fastest growing field within the Insurance sector.
  •  This role over time will become even more crucial owning to the impending recapitalization soon to take place in the Insurance sector.
  • Therefore, we are looking for people with the panache and creativity to get our message across to the teeming Bank Customers. Please note that this role is strictly for people with over 12 months or more experience as a Bancassurance expert.
Responsibilities
  • Conducts market analysis activities, which include activities such as branch / client profiling and survey on competitor products
  • Attends the District/Region’s monthly/quarterly meetings
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Group Head.
  • Solicits new clients and also cross-sell Insurance products to the Bank’s customers.
  • Establish, maintain and grow relationship with Branch employees and customers
  • Establish, maintain and grow relationship with prospective and existing clientele
  • Performs customer service and business retention activities
  • Handles activity reporting, planning and administration.
Experience/Qualification
  • First degree or equivalent education
  • Minimum 12 months post NYSC experience as a Bancassurance expert
