Job Description
- Our client seeks to employ a personable, dynamic, self - driven, innovative and hardworking individual as its Sales Manager
- The successful candidates will be responsible for growing the company’s customer base significantly and ensuring customer retention.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identifying and prospecting for new businesses for the organization through researching, evaluation and analysing of the prospective client’s position in the industry.
- Manage and grow existing customer patronage.
- Maintain relationship with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads and opportunities.
- Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels.
- Cooperate with other departments in the organization to create an exceptional client experience by communicating client’s’ requirements effectively and timely.
- Provide management with accurate sales reports.
- Develop and maintain Customer database.
- Trains other sales personnel in the art of selling.
- Ensure that all the sales team meet or surpass their sales target.
- Sets up booths at trade shows and demonstrates the quality or uses of a product.
- Demonstrates superior time management skills and meets sales deadlines.
- Make Sales presentation and pitches.
Experience and Qualifications
- A good Degree in Business Administration or any Social Science.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Sales and marketing particularly in Port Harcourt and Lagos.
- Proven ability to achieve sales target.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office.
