Our experience and customer base spans across the Oil and Gas, Banking, Telecommunications, Government and Manufacturing sectors of the economy We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:     Job Title: Key Account Manager (PH Region) Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Reports Directly To: Regional Manager - PH Region Purpose

  • Responsible for assessments of marketing opportunities and target markets for ICT, consulting, project management and any other services that can be offered within the Market space in Port Harcourt
  • Also responsible for evaluating business and then realizing its full potential, using such tools as marketing, sales, information management and customer service.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Sell all products, services and solutions to designated accounts/clients within the Market space in Port Harcourt.
  • Carry out market development and technology research of strategic clients within Market space in Port Harcourt.
  • Consult with clients and potential clients to determine their technology requirements.
  • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
  • Plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy
  • Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims
  • Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising and exhibitions.
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Heightened sales cycle and conversation rate.
  • Improved volume of sales and revenue within the commercial sector.
  • Increased revenue (inclusive of diversified revenue/solution streams) from designated accounts.
  • 50% conversion of sales recovery/strategic plans to actual revenue.

Experience and Qualifications
  • A First Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or any other related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in a similar position.
  • A broad knowledge of ICT products and services.
  • An MBA or relevant sales certifications will be an added advantage.

    Job Title: Regional Manager Location: Rivers Reports Directly To: Executive Director, Sales Division: Sales Organization Subject Description
  • Purpose The RM, Port Harcourt is responsible for the management of the branch.
  • The RM, Port Harcourt is responsible for the effective line management of all branch employees for efficient engagements, and productivity.
  • He/She is responsible for the steering of the branch, ensuring the technical and professional competence of members of the sales team and the branch as a whole (through direct mentoring and coaching), performing competence gap analysis on the branch and recommending trainings to fill the identified gaps, as well as, identifying and hiring competent resources into the team.
  • The RM, Port Harcourt is also responsible for setting the balance score card (BSC) for the branch as well as performing performance analysis for the Port Harcourt office on a biannual and annual basis.
  • He/She is responsible for ensuring that the sales organization and the region is well served with the right sales competence to ensure strategic sales and pipeline growth.
  • Finally, he/she is responsible for extensive interfacing with the Business Units to translate the technical direction of Company and her OEM partners into an effective technical strategy to be effectively communicated onwards to the customer by the pre-sales team while also feeding back the customer needs and challenges to the Business Units.
Key Areas of Responsibilities The key roles of the RM, Port Harcourt but are not limited to:
  • Develop and manage the Port Harcourt Office
  • Selection and recruitment of suitable personnel across board
  • Day to day management of personnel including time management, assessment, training and disciplinary issues
  • Ensure that the AMs receive complete and professional technical pre-sales support as they request.
  • Work with Product Management, Sales and the Business Units to help define/refine sales messages and ensure sales packages are developed and messages communicated to sales team
  • Ensure that the Sales resources evolve in line with the Marketing Message and Sales Teams stated requirements.
  • Ensure that all Sales personnel, including self, maintain and develop the following skills:
    • Able to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences

  • Duties of all Sales personnel including the RM Port Harcourt:
    • Production of responses to Requests for Information and Requests for Pricing.
    • Development of Industry specific and technical whitepapers
    • Work with other business units to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of sales activities.
    • Liaison with Product Managers and Business Units to understand details of product direction and design and communicate information back to sales organization.
    • Responsible for staying abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This includes interacting with Product Management and Development on an on-going basis to stay current.
    • Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, etc.
    • Attendance at conferences and working with Business Unit Subject Matter Experts, and research to stay on top of changes in business issues/requirements/regulations/Technology and understand where the market is going.
    • Responsible for staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors.
    • Responsible for preparing for meetings and tailoring communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process.
    • Responsible for working with Product Management to develop and deliver training on business problems, products, and messages (classroom and OJT) for new pre-Sales team members.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in working with a broad range of technology.
  • A good understanding of both Infrastructure and Applications solutions, as well as, experience in both the IT and Telco industries is a requirement.
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
  • Organized and analytical, must be able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in Systems Integrator or OEM sales at least two of which must have been spent in a management capacity.
  • Experience and familiarity of a broad range of solutions including, but not limited to, IP-product line of business plus transport infrastructure (basic routing & switching, IP-MPLS, Metro Ethernet), Unified Communications, Data Center technologies (storage, server virtualizations, Data Center networking etc.), Database technologies (Oracle, Microsoft), Applications (ERP, CRM, BSS/OSS, Middleware etc)
  • A first Degree in Electrical Electronics Engineer, Computer Science/Engr., Physics or related disciplines
