Job Description
- Spice TV have a junior level vacancy with immediate effect as a
Digital & Social Media Officer for an enthusiastic and hard working
individual to join the team. Applicants should have a strong background
and interest in digital and social media, content management systems
(CMS).
- The applicant must have a strong interest and knowledge in the
fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment sector preferably in Fashion, with
experience and good press and industry contacts.

Job Title: Senior Video Editor
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Requirements
- Proven experience shooting with RED, DSLR and pro-sumer cameras. FinalCut 7 or Adobe Premiere.
- 3+ years of experience shooting - RED, DSLR and pro-sumer cameras.
- Experience in the use of a variety of professional video cameras, camera mounts and controller.
- 2+ years of experience of creative production experience.

Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Creative Director and production team to capture and edit digital video content for SPICE TV.
- Create innovative concepts for original video content for all areas of SPICE TV.
- Lead all video projects across the brand, from concept through to shoot and production.
- Be responsible for all shoot research, set-up and execution.
- Attend editorial meetings, and work with wider Creative team, to
produce viable video content ideas which will drive engagement and
product sales in a visually beautiful and editorial way.
- Work closely with the Production team to plan and produce all video content within budget and to agreed timeframe.
- Take responsibility for direction of shoots, both on and off camera.
- Create video content to support editorial features and trend stories weekly.
- Research imagery, music, and video content as support material to video shoots.
- Support with video upload to website.

Job Title: News/Features Writer

Responsibility
- As a member of the online editorial team, you will be
responsible for contributing to the SPICE site on a regular basis,
adhering to deadlines and processes outlined by the Managing Editor.

Job Title: Post Production Supervisor
Location: Lagos

Supervisor to join the production department. You must be able to

pro-active and creative approach is integral to this role as are

Job Description
- We are now looking for a talented Post Production Supervisor to join the Spice TV Creative Production team.
- The role is full time and involves working with a fast-growing team.
- The Post-Production Supervisor is responsible for managing
in-house editorial and production staff, assessing editorial and
production bandwidth requirements and bringing on freelance editorial
staff as needed, overseeing asset management, internal and external
communications and scheduling.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years combined post-production coordination experience, or experience with digital.
- Self-driven and able to complete tasks with minimal guidance if necessary
- Adept at determining priorities and able to hit deadlines.
- An expert in technology, comfortable trouble-shooting problems throughout the editorial department.
- Background in film and television production, or in digital content.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a deadline-driven start-up environment.

- Experience with a variety of post-production software including:

- Designing digital assets across a range of materials, including
promos, social, affiliate banners, email marketing campaigns, look
books and brochures
- Designing seasonal launches for the channel and website in line with the company calendar
- Working with external print suppliers through to final artwork delivery
- Design, coding and delivery of all weekly emails in standard and mobile formats
- Retouching, colour correcting and optimisation of images for the web and editing photography to ensure brand consistency.
- Work with Editorial, Photography, Fashion, Marketing teams to
design and deliver excellent visual site and brand imagery with quality
and performance.
- Create visual designs that effectively communicate seasonal
concepts and brand identity, including the design and production of
onsite layouts, interface elements, iconography, typography, style

Job Title: Production Designer / Animator
Location: Lagos
Job Description
We are now looking for a highly technically- orientated, creative and
talented mid-level production designer and animator with 2-5 years of
experience in Broadcast Production / Motion Graphics Design, in an
on-air television network environment. The ideal candidate should be a
highly organized detail orientated person, with an eye for the technical
and aesthetic craft of broadcast design. You should be a creative
Production and technical problem-solver, as well as posses strong
interpersonal communication skills. The Production Designer/Animator
involves designing and animating graphics for on air, off air, VOD and
multi-platform.
Reponsibilities
- Design and animation of the on-air network navigation, including bugs and various lower third messaging
- Design and animation of promotional elements, based on established network style guides and tool kits.
- Production support for the design team, including but not
limited to keying, rotoscoping, tracking, image prep, colour correction
and resizing of art for various formats.
- Help develop and maintain how-to one sheets and style guides for the design group.
- Help organize, maintain and distribute assets across the design group.
- Help organize and maintain production relation archives.
- Designs and animates in show graphics including flags, bugs, countdown clocks, credit crunches, and crawls
- Coordinates with the Media Planning department and writes copy for in show graphics

Job Description
We are now looking for a talented creative Associate Producer to join
the SPICE TV Creative Production team. Reporting to the Channel Manager
& Creative Director you will be required to generate original video
content for SPICE TV, website, iPad Apps, social media and marketing
projects. Resourceful individuals are invited to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Research, report, brainstorm and pitch new content ideas to head of channel.
- Direct and produce shows from idea to final cut.
- Write scripts, select video, sound bites and sound elements to create video stories.
- Write, develop and manage scripts, scheduling and tracking
deliverables, coordinating voice over production, assigning tasks to
wider team members.
- Supervising the production design teams (sets, costumes, etc;) supervising post-production.
- Ensuring the production runs to schedule.
Requirements
- Degree in a Broadcast, Animation, Design or Media related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a producer, or similar role with interactive/ad agencies.
- Experience producing and/or directing small shoots desired.
- Experience with script writing and copy-writing desired.
Knowledge and proficiency with editing systems and programs including
Final Cut, Avid and/or Adobe Premiere
- is a plus.
