Job Description

  • We are looking for a passionate Social Media Specialist to grow and promote the company's brand, products and services via social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.
Responsibilities
  • As our Social Media Specialist, you are expected to build, execute, manage and accelerate our Social media marketing strategy focusing on popular social media sites especially Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube
  • Responsible for implementing social media analytics tools, track and improve social voice/mentions score.
  • Ensure regular update on all media platforms by Generating, editing, publishing and sharing daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages individuals to take action
  • Manage a Blogger outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the Company
  • Execution of all social media activities including social sharing, tweeting, increase talking to reach, follow latest trends (#) and devise relevant content strategy.
  • In line with management objective; plan, strategize and execute multiple social media campaigns thereby measure effectiveness and impact of each campaign. Present detailed campaign insight report periodically.
  • Tweeting between 40 to 60 times a day while engaging influencers to increase the followership of brand; therefore generating multiple mentions, retweets and content spreading through virality.
  • Understand the user behavior on Facebook; finding innovative ways to leverage Facebook / to get maximum engagement and interaction from your posts.Directing users to landing pages on our company website
Requirements
  • Must be proficient in major Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn etc.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
  • Must be able to write and speak English Flawlessly.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter and ) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Proven track record as a social media evangelist to increase brand followership especially on Facebook, Twitter
  • Experience: Minimum: 2+ years
  • BS in any field.
  • Mobile and social media environment know-how in Nigeria (ability to know what sites to visit for maximum exposure to particular demographics, Gender, Profile etc.).
  • 2 year(s) experience with social/online media strategy and management.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, and SEO skills
