Job Title:   Deputy Director of Programme Operations

 
30% of his/her time to provide strategic leadership and support to the Logistics department to ensure that the logistics function of our operational platform across the country is strengthened and able to support effectively and efficiently the delivery of our programmes and the growth of our portfolio while the other 70% is to lead on the strategic and operational decentralization process with the overall objecnve to have a robust operational platform that will position Save the Children International towards its SC Members, its donors and in-country partners as a leading Organisation capable to deliver more and be a real catalyst for change for Nigerian children through the full spectrum of child programming.

Qualification:
S/he should have at least a master's degree in development or humanitarian field. MBA or any other relevant degree with 7 years of national and/or International experience in senior management capacities/role of which at least 4 years with an INGO; Robust experience of NGO project cycle management and experience of working within a complex and matrix organisation structure; Strong experience in planning; Experience of building and developing the operational capacity of large teams through the use of training. performance management frameworks and development plans; Willingness to travel to operations areas at least 50% of his/her time this is mandatory for this position

Job Title:   Child Health Adviser
 
The Child health adviser in Lagos will take the lead in ensuring the smooth implementation olthe Stop Diarrhoea Project in 3 LGAs of Lagos State. He/she will provide technical input In project design, roll out, and implementation; including ensuring that project outputs delivered are of high quality.
Qualifications:
S/he should have atleast a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in health with 7 years' experience in related field or a Postgraduate qualification in Public Health with a minimum of 4 years' experience In related field and also possess basic clinical and public health qualifications; 5 years health programme management experience with liNGO in Nigeria: very good understanding of national health policies and strategies, programmes and stakeholders on Child Health in Nigeria including child survival issues, common childhood illnesses and childhood immunizations, immunizations programming/ coverage issues in Nigeria; clinical experience in paediatrics or community Paediatrics in Nigeria and mastertrainer/ToT on IMCI and CCM




Job Title:    Finance Assistant
 
This position will be responsible for implementing and/or coordinating all financial support functions to the state office.
Qualifications:
Candidate should have a degree B.Sc/HND or equivalent in Finance/Accounts/Business Administration; S/he should have
experience in working with partners accountable for grants and other financial support provided to implement project activities, particularly at community level.




Job Title:   Driver
 
The driver is responsible for the safe driving of Save the Children Intemational vehicle. staff and Assets. The Driver will ensure cleaning, proper maintenance of vehicles in compliance with the Drive(s handbook and safe driving standards, ensuring the vehicle is fuelled in time for trips and the proper management of the fuel supply for that vehicle. The driver should do so in accordance with SCI policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
A full and clean dnving license with 3-5 years' experience of proressionat driving in an intemational NGO, UN agency or private company: Ability to multi-task and work calmly under pressure is essential for this position: Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated abIlity to lead and work effectively in insecure environments is critical: Some practical experience of user vehicle maintenance.
