Our client, is a young and growing organization with presence in the manufacturing, health & wellbeing, and not-for-profit sectors. They are seeking for qualified candidates who will share in their vision to tackle women empowerment, poverty alleviation, cultural, socio-economic ,health & wellbeing issues, to fill the following positions. These positions are for young and self-driven candidates JOB TITLE: GROUP FINANCE MANAGER LOCATION: KWARA RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and
  • reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • (GAAP)
  • Establish guidelines for budget and forecast preparation, and prepare
  • the annual budget in consultation with the CEO and directors.
  • Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met.
  • Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise
  • with the group internal auditor when and where necessary.
  • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash
  • management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and
  • petty cash.
  • Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general
  • ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
  • Oversee all payroll functions to ensure that employees are paid in a
  • timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that
  • personnel and financial information is secure.
  • Reconcile bank and investment accounts
  • Perform any other related duties that may be assigned.
EDUCATION
  • Good university degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Management/Administration
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
  • ACA, ACCA, or related certifications
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 7 years’ work experience
  • Minimum of 4 years’ work experience in a financial role
  • Not-for-profit experience and reporting will be added advantage
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Knowledge of laws affecting NGOs or not-for profit organizations
  • Advanced in the use of accounting software
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, IT solutions, Internet
  • etc.

JOB TITLE: GROUP HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER LOCATION: KWARA RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, recommend, communicate and implement effective human
  • resources policies, procedures and manuals.
  • Co-ordinate the recruitment, selection, orientation, retention and
  • termination of staff at the entities and the group.
  • Review, update and draft job descriptions and qualifications required
  • for the staff of the group.
  • Facilitate performance management and objective staff appraisals.
  • Manage the provision of corporate trainings that address the needs of
  • the staff and contributes to the effectiveness and efficiency of the
  • group.
  • Develop effective retention and succession strategies.
  • Proactively monitor the operations of the organisation and provide
  • appropriate advice on HR matters.
  • Direct and oversee all administration related activities including
  • security, maintenance, communications, office supplies and
  • transportation.
  • Establish and maintain organizational records, reports and employee
  • files.
  • Carry out any other responsibilities that may be required.
EDUCATION
  • A bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (BUT NOT REQUIRED)
  • Working in HR, in a not-for-profit environment
  • A Master’s degree in related discipline
  • CIPM, CIPD, SHRM etc.
EXPERIENCE
  • 7-8 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of
  • progressive, hands-on HR experience in manufacturing and services
  • organizations.
  • 3 years in administrative services roles;
  • 3-5 years’ supervisory experience

JOB TITLE: INTERNAL AUDITOR LOCATION: KWARA RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare internal audit schedules and manage audits for all entities
  • of the group.
  • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management
  • and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial
  • reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and
  • regulations.
  • Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous
  • reports, data, flowcharts etc.
  • Reconciles documentation with actual inventory or assets to ascertain
  • accuracy
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results.
  • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity,
  • legality and goal achievement.
  • Analyse audit results to identify loopholes and recommend methods for
  • increasing profits, averting risks and decreasing unnecessary costs
  • Manage the periodic inventory and budget audits against the standard
  • financial requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, to ensure efficient implementation
  • of the overall statutory financial audit plans.
  • Promote the adoption of best practice in internal control system.
EDUCATION
  • A good bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
  • ICAN, ACCA, CFA, CIMA or related certifications
EXPERIENCE
  • 7-10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years proven work
  • experience as an internal or senior auditor
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically, MS Office, accounting
  • software and databases
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial data and
  • information to managers with non-financial expertise.
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules
  • and regulations
  • Excellent documentation and record keeping skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Sound independent judgement
  • Excellent oral and written communication
JOB TITLE: HEAD, SOCIAL WELFARE LOCATION: KWARA RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, recommend, implement and coordinate welfare programmes and activities, in line with the organization’s mission and vision.
  • Develop, plan and implement fund-raising strategies for the department and the orphanage
  • Provide direct service and support to beneficiaries, such as handling
  • a referral for child advocacy issues, conducting a needs assessment, or
  • resolving complaints.
  • Develop and implement effective processes and procedures for requesting, tracking and providing welfare support.
  • Facilitate beneficiary forums for feedback and communication, and
  • organize other sensitization programmes
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive records and reports,
  • Supervise and evaluate the work of staff and volunteers
  • Develop individual support plans for the children in the orphanage
  • Perform any other duties as may be required.
EDUCATION
  • A good bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or other
  • related courses.
  • Vocational training in areas such as child care, education or
  • counselling will be an advantage.
EXPERIENCE
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in an NGO, orphanage or any other social work.
  • Previous experience in child care, old peoples home and related area will be an added advantage
