Plan International Nigeria is part of the global federation of Plan International and was registered as a National Organization in 2014 in Nigeria with Corporate Affairs Commission under the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 1990.
Plan International works in 70 Countries across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. We reach as many children as possible, particularly those who are excluded or marginalized through the delivery of high-quality programmes that deliver long-lasting benefits to children and their communities.
Plan International Nigeria's Board was constituted in 2014, with the responsibility of an oversight function on the activities of the organization. With the new Country strategy and in line with the requirements of our Governance manual, Plan International Nigeria is seeking to recruit members into its Board.

Job Description
- We are seeking experienced Professionals and Public servants with background in International Development, Accounting, Gender/inclusion programming, Legal, Human Resources, and Organizational Development.
Requirements
- Interested candidates applying must have strong values of accountability, good governance and commitment to Plan International values which are: striving for lasting impact, working well together, open/accountable and inclusive/empowering.
- Board membership in Plan International is not a paid role, we are therefore interested in people who are passionate about their communities and their country and ready to volunteer and make the required contribution towards our new ambition of action together so that 100 million girls learn, lead, decide and thrive.
- We seeking candidates from the six geo-political zones in Nigeria. Women and young people are specifically encouraged to apply.
