Partners for Development is an international non-profit organisation with a mission to work with underserved populations to improve quality of life. PFD is implementing a Health Access through Local Empowerment (HALE) project that will contribute to accomplishing Targeted Sales High Impact Project (TSHIP)
institutional, service delivery community participation and policy objectives in 3 Local Government of Bauchi State.
1.PROGRAM OFFICER: The position will be based in Bauchi State with intensive field travel. The successful applicant will be reporting to Bauchi State Program Manager
Job Requirements:
Degree or equivalent in development/health or social science with at least 3 years previous experience with focus on community mobilization. Health or Behaviour change communication as well as Family Planning/Reproductive Health programming department of a development agency or NGO. Strong communication, including computer literacy as well as writing skills are desired
Job Duties:
He or she will oversee field travel implementation of the project, particularly health education and communication mobilisation aspects in line with PFD’s guidelines to ensure the overall project objectives are achieved.
2. HEALTH COORDINATOR: the successful applicant will report to PFD deputy Country Program Director and position will be based in Bauchi State with travel necessary.
Vacancy Requirements:
MPH, Nursing or equivalent graduate level degree with minimum of 5 years experience in Public Health Projects with NGOs in Nigeria. Experience in Family Planning and Maternal, Newborn Child Health, Reproductive Health or USAID Public Health project will be an added advantage. Computer literate and Strong communication skills and writing skills are desired.
Job Responsibilities:
He or she will be liason between PFD and TSHIP in Bauchi, ensure that project meets expectations as well as objectives of TSHIP, PFD and partners and assist in management and oversight of HALE.
