The NIGERIAN SUPREME COUNCIL FOR ISLAMIC AFFAIRS (NSCIA), with the headquarters in Abuja, requires the services of proactive, honest and self driven Muslims of repute to fill the following vacancies:
1. Deputy Director of Administration (Chief Operating Officer of the Secretariat)
2. Internal Auditor
3. Dawah Officer
4. Research Officer
5. Media Manager
6. Planning Officer
7. Confidential Secretary
8. Bilingual Secretary (English/Arabic) Grade II
9. Bilingual Typist (English/Arabic)
10.Computer Operator
11. Clerks
12. Driver/Mechanic
13. Office Attendants
 
REQUIREMENTS FOR DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION:
a. A  degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a recognized university.
b.  Evidence of deep knowledge of Islamics (Islamic perspectives of Arts and Sciences).
c.   Higher degree/formal training in Humanities attracts an advantage.
d.   Productive Administrative/Managerial post graduate experience of not less than 12 years.
e.   Applicants should be proficient in English,Arabic and secretarial/administrative use of Computer.
d. Must have a reputable guarantor
 
REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNAL AUDITOR
a. HND/BSc with membership of ICAN
b. Evidence of auditing experience of not less than 3 years
c. Computer Literacy
d. A reputable guarantor who must testify to independent mindedness of the applicant.
 
REQUIREMENTS FOR DA’WAH OFFICER:
a. A graduate of Arabic, Islamic Studies, Shariah or related Discipline with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a reputable University.
b. At least 3 years cognate working experience in a reputable Islamic organization.
c. Candidates should possess high proficiency in computer and Internet usage,English and Arabic.
d. Competence in Dialogue and inter-religious relations is essential
e. A reputable guarantor who must be a President/National Missioner of a National Islamic Organisation or a Chief Imam in Nigeria.
 
REQUIREMENTS FOR RESEARCH OFFICER: 
a. A first Degree from a reputable University with at least a Second Class (Lower Division). A higher degree and knowledge of Arabic will be added advantages.
b. Cognate Experience of not less than 3 years
c. High proficiency in computer and internet usage.
d. Must have a reputable guarantor.
 
REQUIREMENTS FOR MEDIA MANAGER:
a. First Degree in English or Mass Communication with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from a reputable University. High proficiency in English is essential. A higher degree will be an advantage.
b. At least 5 years working experience in print or electronic media outfit.
c. Must have a reputable guarantor.
 
REQUIREMENTS FOR PLANNING OFFICER:
a. A Graduate of a reputable University with at least Second Class (Lower Division). A higher degree will be an advantage
b. At least 3 years cognate working experience.
c. Must have a reputable guarantor.
 
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONFIDENTIAL SECRETARY:
a. Ordinary/Higher Diploma from a recognised and reputable Institution in SecretarialStudies,including passes in Shorthand and Typewriting at not less than 100 and 50 words per minute respectively.
b. WASC with Credit in English
c. Must have a reputable guarantor
 
REQUIREMENTS  FOR BILINGUAL SECRETARY(English/Arabic) Grade II / Bilingual Typist
 a. Proficiency in word processing in both Arabic and English
b.  Must have Reputable guarantor
    REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPUTER OPERATOR
a. Ordinary Diploma with ability to type at a speed of not less than 50 words per minute.
b. Must have a reputable guarantor.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CLERKS
 a. WASC with cognate experience or National Diploma in
      Business Administration/Accounting
  b. must have a reputable guarantor
 
  REQUIREMENTS FOR DRIVER/MECHANIC
   a. CLASS III/II Trade Test for Mechanic work
   b. E Class Driving Licence with years of driving experience
   c. ability to communicate and write in English
 
REMUNERATION:
The Conditions of service for staff members of NSCIA is similar to that of the Federal Civil Service except that, subject to good performance and health, the retirement age is 70 years with contributory(employer/employees) pension scheme operated by SIGMA PENSIONS LTD.
The Deputy Director is on level 16 of the Federal Civil Service Scale while the point of entry for every other position will be determined by Qualification and experience.
