  • Apply appropriate engineering principles, best practice and know-how in the provision of engineering services and professional advice.
  • Provide effective facilities engineering support to field operations by means of identifying technical problems, evaluating options and develop solutions to improve facilities performance.
  • Assist field operations in troubleshooting and developing and selecting best suitable approaches to address the issue.
  • Assess process safety and business related risks and develop appropriate checks, controls and precautions to reduce risks to an acceptable level.
  • Participate in risk assessments like HAZOP Studies and Process Hazard Analyses.
  • Execute root cause failure analyses to continuously improve facilities performance.
  • Develop and implement pro-active process engineering surveillance activities in order to identify opportunities that help enhance integrity and reliability of existing facilities.
  • Provide an engineering interface with field operations, service providers, regulators, project personnel and other stakeholders in the development and execution of engineering activities.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional disciplines to develop comprehensive engineering solutions.
  • Develop and maintain prioritized worklists of activities supporting field operations.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently on a wide range of facilities engineering issues, including ability to research relevant technology and previous experience of others and apply these to problem solving.
  • Demonstrate willingness to continuously develop own professional skills
Requirements
  • The candidate should be a chemical, mechanical or electrical engineer with a Bachelor’s or Master's degree
  • Experience Facilities Engineers.
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience working Asset integrity issues in the Upstream environment
