Job Summary

  • Seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer/Specialist with expertise in the Oil and Gas Industry. Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Key responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, overseeing project execution, and providing technical support for mechanical operations.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives while adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, schedule, and oversee design and engineering activities across disciplines.
  • Provide expert support for technical reviews and preparation of site integrity study reports for EPC scope of work.
  • Facilitate EPC ITT tendering process and conduct site visits for validation and inspection.
  • Manage project specifications, engineering procedures, and technical documents.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary checks, design reviews, and HAZOPS studies.
  • Manage critical interfaces and assist in contractor selection and material procurement.
  • Supervise and inspect mechanical construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Prepare documentation for project activities and coordinate contractor activities.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives for engineers.
  • Review and validate recommendations for long lead items and mechanical works by EPC contractor.
  • Conduct oversight analysis of technical documents and activities on a unit-by-unit basis.
  • Review operating and maintenance procedures and provide technical support during testing and commissioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering fields.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
  • 8 years of experience in designing offshore oil and gas production facilities.
  • Specifically, 6 years of experience in engineering design for oil facilities, petrochemical, or oil and gas handling projects.
  • Must have track record of working within engineering teams on projects with construction contract values exceeding US$15 million each.
  • Familiarity with codes, standards, regulations, and practices governing the design and construction of offshore structures/production facilities, including IP, API, NEG, ISA, ANSI, AGA, NEMA, etc.
  • Extensive involvement in training and developing junior engineers.
  • Proficient in oil field engineering construction methods, practices, and procedures.

Salary
USD8,000 - USD9,600 Monthly Net.
