Job Title: Web Developer (ASP.NET, C#, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, JS, jQuery)
Location: Lagos
Job Description:
The web developer will be a key member of the software development team, responsible for building and maintaining web applications and infrastructure. From brainstorming through deployment, our web developer will work with other software engineers and UI expert(s) to design and develop user interfaces and Internet/Intranet applications.

The candidate possesses that rare blend of interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and implementation skills along with:

• HND, Bachelor degree or equivalent in computer science or related technical field.
• Portfolio of enterprise-class, commercial grade website projects that demonstrate creativity, design and development expertise, reliable execution at scale, and customer satisfaction.
• Advanced design skills with ASP.NET, SQL, PHP, other scripting languages.
• Secondary design skills should include HTML5 and CSS.
• Advanced skills in user interaction should include expertise in Google Maps, and other API's.
• Knowledge and experience with modern browsers and technologies: Explorer, Firefox, Chrome
• Active industry standards participation and thought leadership in the area of user experience, usability testing, human factors and interaction.
• Familiar with XML parsing and JSON parsing.
• Knowledge and experience with Javascript, jQuery a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes to identify potential solutions, and translate user and organizational needs into specific functional requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to research, learn, and apply new technologies.
• Must work independently, collaboratively, and creatively on multiple projects.
• Must demonstrate superior communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to high standards of quality, including documentation.
• Prefer candidates with experience working across platforms including mobile.
• Prefer candidates with full lifecycle management experience of high-performance, high-reliability database applications, with strong interest in improving the environment through advanced engineering.

• The ideal candidate will understand and design to business goals as well as creative aesthetic. Creativity, style, love of the Internet, communications, and commerce, and the ability to produce and execute in a fast-paced production environment are core skills.
• The UI designer aids in the project requirement gathering and generates mockup templates to help demonstrate software functionality.
• The UI Designer works with solution developers to develop, test, and generate easy to use applications that are both functionally sound and aesthetically pleasing.
• The UI Developer is responsible for both internal as well as external/customer-facing sites and applications.

• Involved in the ideation and brainstorming of new applications
• Conceive and design user interface prototypes based on high level feature requirements.
• Works with internal teams to identify, evaluate and recommend screen interfaces.
• Assists in testing and quality assurance of end product.
• Involved in all aspects of the development life cycle, from the initial kick off through the requirements analysis, design, implementation, and post production feedback
• Works with business users and engineers to help train on the developed product.
• Supports in house and 3rd party applications
• Adheres to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Document functional requirements
• Designs prototypes and mockups using html design tools and various mockup tools.
• Evaluates, analyzes and develops web pages and graphics resulting in easy to use applications.
• Produce clear, well-communicated, complete designs for product features and sub-systems
• Build interfaces for both mobile and desktop based applications that address customer and business needs.
• Works with solution developers in choosing the proper layout, page flow, and page controls to match functional needs.

• Technical expert for one or more technical areas such as
• Primary Software Design Packages (html and graphic design tools) –Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Primary Languages :HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap Design Elements, ASP.Net (aspx pages) – Web Forms and MVC architectures

• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Exceptional interpersonal/team building skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and participate on multi-functional teams
• Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective

• 4+ years' experience in software UI design.
• Experience working both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
