  • Develop and implement integrity activities that include inspection and corrosion monitoring and control on all UN operated facilities to ensure that these facilities are safe for operation and prevent premature failure.
  • Conduct pro-active structural integrity and corrosion engineering surveillance activities. Close surveillance of field integrity performance and identify opportunities to enhance existing facilities.
  • Evaluate changes proposed by the operations teams and perform associated Management of Change to manage any associated risk appropriately. Ensure risk prioritization and execution of identified mechanical integrity deficiencies.
  • Manage Classification and regulatory compliance issues related to marine structures, mooring systems and equipment
  • Work independently on a wide range of facilities issues, including ability to research relevant technology and previous experience of others and apply these to problem solving
  • Analyze inspection results and conduct fitness for service assessment to ensure integrity of the marine equipment and mooring systems for FPSO, FSO, CALM Buoy crude export systems. Ensure own recommendations for remedial actions are technically sound and cost effective. Ensure that all recommendations are followed through to completion.
  • Develop seriatim listing of marine asset integrity issues for both shutdown and non-shutdown related deficiencies for effective work planning
  • Perform other engineering support functions, such as fitness for service and remaining life assessments, failure analyses, damage assessments and damage repair plans and evaluations.
  • Provide technical advice to other UN functional groups on naval architecture, station keeping and marine engineering issues.
Job Requirements
  • Graduate Engineer with a minimum of five years’ experience supporting asset integrity management for offshore marine facilities in the oil and gas industry.
  • The preference is for engineers with a minimum of bachelor’s degree in naval architecture and / or ocean engineering, structural, mechanical, corrosion or metallurgical and materials engineering
