Job Title: Office Assistant
Location: Lagos
Key Purpose of Job:
- To provide efficient and effective administrative support for the HR Manager and HR Advisors, ensuring service users are provided with key information on HR processes and procedures and the efficient processing of employment contracts.
Duties- Being responsible for the processing of new appointments and changes to existing employment contracts using established templates and proformas, including issuing of offers of employment and statements of particulars.
- Providing advice to service users on general HR queries relating to terms and conditions of employment e.g. annual leave; notice periods; pay rates.
- Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information.
- Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items; delivering supplies to work stations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs; monitoring equipment operation; monitoring and purchasing meter fund.
- Maintains office schedule by picking-up and delivering items using automobile.
- Serves clients by backing-up receptionist; answering questions; forwarding messages; confirming customer orders; keeping customers informed of order status.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Providing administrative support to the HR team, including word processing, distribution of information, answering telephones, minute taking at meetings .
Requirement- Office Experience.
- Must be a Graduate.
- Telephone Skills.
- Good Verbal and written skills.
- Either male or female.
Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Lagos
Job Objective- To deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers.
Requirements:- Must be Graduate.
- be able to converse in English.
- Live within a reasonable traveling distance.
- Either male or female.
Responsibilities- Deliver excellent customer service, at all times.
- Assist in keeping the hotel reception area clean and tidy, at all time.
- Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail.
- Administer all reservations, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policy.
- Keep up to date with current promotions and hotel pricing, to provide information to guests, on request, while maximising bedroom sales opportunities.
- Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.
- Conduct regular security checks throughout the day and report any security issues to line manager.
- Report any maintenance issues immediately to line manager, including all furniture, fittings and equipment.
Job Title: Driver
Location: Lagos
Requirements and Responsibilities- The candidate must have up to 5 years working experience. Must speak English fluently.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as regulating tire pressure and adding petrol, oil, and water.
- The car must have at least a half-tank of fuel before you close.
- Test vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns, or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation. Notify your employer of vehicle problems.
- Familiarise yourself with traffic laws, follow traffic regulations (including LASTMA) and ensure that passengers follow safety regulations (seat belts). When driving, always park the car before using the phone.
- Perform minor vehicle repairs such as cleaning spark plugs, or take vehicles to approved mechanics for servicing.
- Sweep and clean interiors, and wash and polish exteriors of automobiles.
- Perform errands for customers or employers, such as delivering or picking up mail, messages, and packages.
- Drop departing passengers at domestic and international airport at the specified times. Ensure that another member of staff is with you.
- Pick up arriving passengers at domestic and international airport at the specified times or convey them safely to their destination. Ensure that another member of staff is with you.
- Keep up to date with traffic news, familiarize yourself with alternative routes to avoid traffic where possible. Learn the names of streets and places you go to regularly.
- Pick up or meet employers and their guests/children according to requests, appointments, or schedules. Ensure that they can see you as soon as they come out of where they were, or that your mobile phone is charged and in your pocket so that they can call and reach you there.
- Take special care when driving the children to ensure that they are safe and not exposed to harm at all times. If the children change the instructions that you were given, ask them to call your employers to gain permission, and if you cannot get through, perform the original instruction only.
- Communicate with other staff to exchange information and receive requests for service.
- Keep all vehicle papers up to date. Registration, insurance, driver s licences of all drivers.
- Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles, and help them with any bags, equipment or luggage.
- Find out and Provide passengers with information about the local area and points of interest, or give advice on hotels and restaurants.
