  Job Title: System Completion Planner Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Offshore Rotation (Expat/National) (7 days on/7 days off, 14 days on/14 days off, 28 days on/28 days off) Main Functions
  • The Systems Completion Planner focuses on developing and updating commissioning and start-up planning deliverables for Company in order for the project team to test Contractor performance in these areas.
  • The role is characterized by: Strong planning background with specific knowledge of commissioning and start-up activities during planning and execution, collaboration with the Contractor to ensure scheduling and reporting requirements associated with systems completion are clearly understood and adhered to and effective communication skills with the ability to produce polished reports and communication packages.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Review and provide input to planning related deliverables including but not limited to project schedule, commissioning schedule, fish bones, skylines, etc.

  • The Senior Project Management Advisor will typically be involved in the execution planning of one or more major capital projects (>500 M$) during Select and Define Stages and may support and monitor several such projects in the Execution phase post Gate 3.
  • The role requires a seasoned and experienced project professional who can mentor and train less experienced personnel assigned to the Project Execution function and to specific projects.
  • The Advisor will ensure the project team obtains the services needed to achieve overall project objectives and strategies and efficiently executes the project in accordance with expectations.

  • Provides direct and specific design engineering support in the Structural Engineering area to assigned project teams within the Nigerian Project Organization.

  • Responsible for stewarding and administering vendor contracts and/or orders to ensure uninterrupted goods/service delivery to buyers and compliance with controls.
  • Responsible for researching and analyzing existing contracts and making recommendations on various issues.
  • Monitors and manages contract expiration dates. Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 3yrs work experience in contract administration / commercial related type work.
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Commercial, Law, Accounting, Business Administration, etc. (Second Class Upper Division).
Experience in the following job tasks:
  • Monitor compliance with conditions of award
  • Monitor spend versus approved Contract Value
  • Monitor Work Order/Request For Service changes
  • Coordinate interface meeting with vendors
  • Initiate Contractor Performance Report
  • Periodic review of work executed without agreement
  • Steward & coordinate contract KPIs
  • Steward Claims / dispute resolution
  • Initiate Work termination/suspension notification.
