We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial
statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy,
completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
- Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial
commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or
to provide advice.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc in Accounting.
- Possession of ACA qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years in financial and management accounting.
- Strong customer service skills
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Ability to use travel agency software packages
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience working in an IATA certified travel company will be an added advantage
- Good verbal Communication skills
- Ability to plan and be very organized
- Ability to pay attention to details and follow through on assigned work
Job Title: Audit Executive
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Coordinate audits activities with other departments to streamline resource needed for programmes
- Ensure that proper books are kept and maintained by the company
- Ensure adherence to established accounting policies, procedures and practices
- Vouching and authorizing all payments to the accounts.
- Conducting of impromptu cash count.
- Review and trace all bank lodgements against books and registers
- Review bank reconciliation statement and ensure it is accurate
- Institute internal control mechanism for all the departments of the company
- Carry out such other duties as may assign from time to time by the account.
- Evaluating internal control systems and recommend improvements to the internal control systems.
- Conducting audit of internal funds; expenses and income.
Qualification and Requirements
- A minimum of B.Sc (Accounting)
- Ability to pay attention to details and follow through on assigned work
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Ability to use travel agency software packages
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
- Minimum of 2 years Audit Experience
- ICAN Student at Skill Level will be an added advantage.
- Good verbal Communication skills
- Ability to plan and be very organized
