Job Title: Business Development Manager, West Africa-Lagos
The area: Direct Sales Organization
This position is based in Lagos, Nigeria
Vacancy Responsibilities:Identify and lead exploratory discussions with potential partners.
Negotiate and close strategic deals and manage existing partners.
Expand and lead entrepreneurial opportunities in addition to sourcing high priority, high impact deals that align with the company and regional strategy.
Influence business strategies based on expertise and understanding of industry landscape, trends and competitors.
Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of internal and external constituents including, but not limited to: product team, engineering, marketing, sales, legal and top executives.
Minimum Qualifications:BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive project/deals at once in a fast paced environment with minimal direction.
Experience identifying partners and structuring complex contracts, with a proven track record of negotiating and executing deals and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven African experience, including experience in business development, partner management, product management or product marketing in industries relevant to Google.
In-depth experience operating within and leading cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, implementation, legal, finance, marketing, etc).
