We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Construction Coordinator I
Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Contracts
Job Nature: Standard Schedule – 6 days on / 1 day off
Main Functions
- The Construction Coordinator responsible for construction planning, coordinates construction input and communicates with Construction management.
- Establishes the Construction Planning Program (CPP) & seek alignment of the planning scope with the Construction Advisor & subsequently with the Construction Support Manager.
- Manages assigned projects and the implementation contractors involved to ensure that the projects deliverables are completed for RFI, meet the quality requirements and schedule, and delivered to project requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinate Construction input to the planning effort & act as the key interface point for coordinating the flow of Construction deliverables to the project.
- Communicate & work with Construction Support Managers to resolve construction planning resource constraints.
- Organize & facilitate Construction Execution Team (CET) meetings for assigned projects.
- Ensure timely communication with Construction Advisor, Construction Support Manager, Construction Manager & Construction Leadership Team (CLT) on project status & issue resolution.
- Act as Construction Functional Engagement Plan (FEP) Coordinator for assigned projects and provide project support as needed.
- Competent in the ability to prepare, review and approve construction work packs & job cards.
- Excellent technical and practical skills; able to consistently deliver quality, safe and timely work.
- Ability to identify construction requirement and develop implementation strategy.
- Provides input and assistance and facilitate constructability workshops and reviews
Job Requirements
- BS/MS in Engineering
- Good coordination & interface capabilities
- 5+ years of project experience

Job Title: Process Engineer III
Location: Nigeria

Main Functions
- Lead a design team in the development of basic process design specifications or provide oversight of an engineering contractor's technical deliverables during the front end design / detailed engineering phases of projects.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Monitor and lead junior engineers in the development of process design specifications, including the development of heat & material balances, design flow plans, process equipment design, preliminary hydraulic balances, utility balances, basic process control & instrumentation, materials selection, safety facilities
- Lead and/or perform process optimization studies to identify / evaluate capital / operating cost savings, process configuration alternatives, safety facilities requirements, etc.
- Provide technical oversight for engineering contractor's work during front end engineering & design / detailed engineering to ensure consistency with Company methods & guidelines, project specifications & owner's requirements
- Participate in Hazard & Operability Reviews for new / modified facilities / in support of existing plant facilities
- Provide commissioning & start-up assistance for new / modified facilities, as required
- Establish organization and staffing process.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, required
- 20+ years of demonstrated experience in petroleum refining / chemical process industry / with an engineering contractor serving these industries
- 10+ years of demonstrated capital project development experience
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
- Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.
