We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Project Engineer I Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Resident Main Functions

  • Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
  • Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems.
  • Provides technical support for the engineering process.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision.
  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Back up responsibilities for the Project Manager as required
  • Participates in Invitation to Tender (ITT) development, bid evaluation and contractor selection
  • Participates in identification & sourcing long lead equipment, assuring Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contractor support until equipment is assigned to the contractor
  • Coordinates development of EMCAPS (ExxonMobil Capital Project Management System) Gate 3 deliverables
  • Coordinates development of Functional Interaction Plan
  • Coordinates project issues resolution process
  • Coordinates change requests & endorses change authorization
  • Responsible for the completion of the assigned work scope consistent with the Project Objectives
  • Engages Project Team and functional resources to verify that the design & construction is consistent with project specifications & standards
  • Serves as interface between Project Team & Contractor
  • Ensures smooth transitions between project stages
  • Leads Project Management Team (PMT) in applying Project Management Systems
Job Requirements
  • BS degree in Engineering field
  • 5+ years experience in multiple assignments in engineering, construction, and project management and controls activities
  • Broad range of experience and skills through multiple function & project assignments (Multi-discipline skill set)
  • Broad knowledge of design standards, specifications & work processes
  • Strong leadership, influencing & interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, coordination, planning & interface skills
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads & frequent changes in priorities
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to read, write & speak fluent English
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of software program
  • This is a job level 1 position: 1 to 10 years of related experience is required.
Application Deadline 26th September, 2018.     Job Title: Plant / Process Operator I (Marine Operator) Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Rotation (2 weeks on/2 weeks off) Main Functions
  • Responsible for liaising with the Control Room Technician (CRT) and other Operations Technicians on job safety requirements to ensure understanding of the work objectives, safety, health, environmental, Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) and security concerns. Responsible for supporting the CRT/Ops Supervisor in providing oversight of the area activities and ensuring they are integrated and conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Works in a crew environment to manage activities involved with safe and efficient operation of all plant units and sulfur recovery operations. Performs surveillance of equipment
Other functions
  • Work cooperatively with Contractor personnel to prepare and maintain a safe work environment for their work
  • Responsible for participation in the Operations Emergency Response activities relating to the Area
  • Provide support and coordination with the Systems Completion team in start-up and commissioning of the facilities
  • Take part in the review of work packages for planned maintenance activities within allocated Area, confirms that isolation requirements are applied, and ensures that the preparation of equipment is planned in a manner that provides a safe environment in which personnel can work
  • Endorse Work Permits as the Area Operator (AO) . Endorse Work Permits as the Isolating Authority (IA) when required.
  • Encourages team effort between Maintenance and Operations groups
  • Supports work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and to complement the efforts of other work groups
  • Ensuring the CRT is informed and consulted about operations and major issues
  • Ensures good communication between Areas so that issues can be adequately addressed and actions completed
  • Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in allocated Area
  • Maintain a daily log and shift changeover notes
  • Safely perform physical tasks at times, e.g. moving drums of chemicals, lifting, climbing ladders/silos/tanks
  • May perform minor maintenance to equipment

    Job Title: Installation Coordinator III - EXPAT Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Rotation - 8 wks on /2 wks off (Days On - 56; Days Off-14) Job Descriptions
  • Implement the Installation Planning and Execution Framework to provide consistent, milestone measured installation planning and execution activities at defined points along the project timeline.
  • Assure timely communication of status and plans between Project and Functional Management.
  • Support Offshore Area Operations Lead as necessary during actual execution phase.
Tasks and Responsibilities In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, a Level 3:
  • Assist the Subsea & Pipelines Construction Manager to develop budget and staffing plan to build a high performance, multi-disciplined engineering and surveillance team with expertise necessary to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure technical specialists are effectively utilised.
  • Assist Subsea & Pipelines Construction Manager to ensure effective project closeout including documentation at end of each phase.
  • Effective interfacing with subsea design, facilities, drilling, commissioning, and start-up personnel.
  • May supervise direct reports
Job Requirements
  • 20+ years’ experience in construction or offshore installation support of oil and gas industry
  • Master’s in Engineering
  • In depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction and installation (diver and diverless) of subsea equipment associated with the oil / gas industry including structures installation, pipeline tie-ins, umbilical's installation, stabilization and pre-commissioning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and common E-mail systems
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills, ability to achieve milestones, work collaboratively and manage a team of package engineers.
  • Fluent in English
  • Visible demonstration of commitment to development and maintenance of a comprehensive HSE culture.
  • Formal HSE management training preferred
