We utilize innovative, unconventional and bespoke methods essential for the fast track production of energy (oil and gas) from remote and mature fields located in Africa, the Middle East and South America.

Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • Effectively promote and sell our products and services to clients within the oil industry.
  • The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for understanding client needs, providing technical expertise, and delivering innovative solutions to drive sales growth and maximize customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Technical Sales Team to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Drive sales by searching/ targeting new clients/prospects who might benefit from Oida’s (Oildata’s) products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions by cultivating existing client relationships to achieve high renewal rates and client satisfaction.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of technologies, and services to effectively communicate product features, advantages, and benefits to clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong and long-term relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards in all sales activities and interactions with clients
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence
  • Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects
  • Prepare/assist with bids and tenders for clients.
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
  • Solution Development: Successfully match client requirements to proposed solution by customizing solutions and proposals that meet client requirements and specifications
  • Product Demonstration: Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our products and services.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress against targets and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should relevant qualifications with 1-5 years experience.
