Job Title: Roving Project Coordinator

Location: Abuja
Job type: Contract

The Opportunity

  • The purpose of this role is to serve as program technical support for all project implementation of PLAN development programme in Nigeria.  
  • The role will contribute to proposal development processes. Additional responsibilities include supervision and technical assistance to project staff as well as relations with key partners and service providers.
  • The role holder will provide support and leadership to project implementation especially during the start-up and close down phase of project implementation.
  • The candidate will be directly involved in project planning, managing programme quality, financial and narrative reporting, and stakeholder management.

About You

  • We are looking for applicant with a University Degree or its equivalent in Social Science, Natural Science or related fields. A master’s degree in International Development or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • The candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of experience working in the NGO sector with roles in project management and/or budget management.
  • S/he should possess good knowledge and understanding of development issues in Nigeria with an excellent understanding of program start-up, project monitoring and project close-out processes.
