We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Front Desk Officer

Locations: Ebonyi
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

  • He/she is the first point of contact with the KPs or any other person entering the OSS.

He/ She must be a KP community member and must:

  • Greet all the entrant into the OSS
  • Maintain stock of forms and office supplies
  • Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
  • Safeguard Clients privacy and confidentiality
  • Ensure timely courier of retirement to ECEWS HQ
  • Register clients according to established protocols
  • Assist Clients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
  • Ensure Clients information is accurate.
  • inform Clients of medical office procedures and policy
  • In liaison with the record unit maintain and manage client records
  • Move Clients through appointments as scheduled
  • Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
  • Transfer calls as required and Schedule Clients appointments
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post
  • Complete other clerical duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Nursing / Midwifery or Bachelor's Degree in Science, Economics or related field and an Experience in HIV/AIDS Key Population program is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with standard Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Previous responsibility managing project budgets will be an asset
  • Must be a KP community member
  • Being a Nurse will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent command of English and preferably have experience in drafting documents such as proposals, reports, project plans and memos (additional language skills are an asset)
  • Demonstrable project management and organizational skills appropriate for a highly multi-tasked environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and through telephone and e-mail
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
