Job Title: Maintenance Scheduler

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job type: Full-time

Job Purpose / Objective

  • To schedule maintenance activities for Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines in order to meet the Plant Availability, Reliability and Integrity objectives in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Basic Functions & Principal Responsibilities

  • To schedule all maintenance activities in accordance with the policy on Health, safety and environment. Ensure competence of company and contractor meet with and are familiar with HSSE requirements.
  • Follow up and confirms that maintenance records are accurately entered into the CMMS and that work orders are closed out after completion timeously.
  • Report, monitor and track KPIs that drive achievement in term of scheduling efficiency and integrity. Monitor schedule attainment and documents reasons for execution delays and other deviations from schedule. Updates plans / work packs in the planning library when required.
  • Manage the short and midterm schedules of maintenance activities (thirty days or less) for effective execution within timeline and budget for the asset team and other functions for maintaining/restoring integrity and reliability/ availability to achieve targeted production. Partakes in the planning of area turnaround activities.
  • Interact with the planner, schedulers for service providers, operations / maintenance supervisors and coordinators to assure adherence to the daily/weekly schedule. Update schedule daily and include schedule breakers.

Job Requirements
Education:

  • HND (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Strong maintenance background with minimum 3 Years oil & gas experience.
  • Has records on maintenance, reliability / integrity or turnarounds with proven supervisory / leadership skill.
  • Has experience with technical integrity management processes and good understanding of various technical disciplines with proficiency in spare procurement and CMMS maintenance management system.

Technical/Business Skills:

  • Be able to plan and schedule maintenance activities according to standard work practices and expectations.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English Language
  • Ability to work with people of diverse race and culture.

Competencies:

  • Proficient in the use of Primavera, MS Project and MS Office Suite
