We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Executive Assistant / Legal Liaison

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Resposibilities

  • Ensures all business policies and activities are correctly managed and in compliance with the law
  • Manage all company communications, draft contracts, documents and ensure filings
  • Review legal information and proof-read documentation for errors
  • Identify new policies, laws and regulations, and form recommendations for business growth
  • Analyze and identify potential risks, compliance violations and ensure compliance with internal and external policies.
  • Review changes to law and regulations
  • Advise management on any impact to business
  • Provide legal counsel to management on business transactions
  • Organize Board/Board Committee Meetings, Board Strategy Sessions and ad-hoc meetings
  • Liaise with external consultants on the board review process by analyzing the report and tracking completion of action plans
  • Provide in-house legal counsel services, such as participation in committee and client meetings
  • Draft legal documents and letters covering various areas such as credit, employment, ensuring inclusion of fair and beneficial terms
  • Manage the GMD’s and the executive’s calendars, schedules and setup meetings
  • Make travel arrangements for the GMD
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and reports for the GMD
  • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Supervise company registrations, projects (i.e., perfection of titles, mortgages and debentures) from initiation through completion.
  • Prepare legal documents, reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on company matters
  • Work with Management Staff to identify and resolve operational company issues
  • Perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications / Experience

  • A graduate Degree in Law, preferably a male
  • International travel arrangement skills
  • Member of the Nigerian Bar Association
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law
  • 3 years experience as an Executive Assistant working with C-level executives
  • Good understanding of general and commercial law
  • Good researching skills.
  • A minimum of 4 years post NYSC experience
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
