We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Graduate Trainee
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Rotation through various departments such as sales, social media, supply chain, quality control, and operations to gain a holistic understanding of the business.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize sales and market share for our products.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Engage in continuous learning and self-development to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Monitored inventory levels and ensure that inventory is properly managed to meet customer demand.
  • Developed and implement strategies to optimize logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyzed logistics data and identified opportunities for improvement in inventory management, resulting in a 25% reduction in inventory holding costs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing quality control activities.
  • Ensure daily operations are in compliance with company Health, Safety & Environmental guidelines and procedures-, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), preparation of Standard Operating Procedure documents (SOPs) to aid and ensure quality and safe production methods
  • Analyze workflow and plan production based on materials availability, machine capacity and constraints for production and ensure delivery within the agreed timeline.
  • Assist in the inspection and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute promotional campaigns and product launches effectively.
  • Support the development and execution of trade marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge, leadership skills, and business acumen.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations to communicate key insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Learn to operate and maintain testing equipment and tools used in quality control procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior quality control staff to identify and address any issues or deviations from quality standards.
  • Follow established protocols for documenting and reporting quality control data and findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Science Lab Tech or related field.
  • 1 - 2 years post NYSC experience;
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Leadership potential and a desire to pursue a career in management within the FMCG industry.
  • Flexibility to relocate or travel as required.
  • Proficient in the use of Micro Soft Office Suites.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Excellent attention to details and a good team player.
